God gave us Jeremiah 29:11 over and over and when we got the calling to roll out Early Childhood Development training (preschool teacher training) we first felt we are not equipped or ready. But God showed us that when He calls you He will equip and enable you. We are just wowed by what God did through us, we only needed to be willing!
2014 Isivuno Training started and we knew we need to train trainers and set up training centers as Luke 10:2 says the harvest is ready but the workers are few. Our multiplication happens through trainer training. We now have 9 training centers. 5 in South Africa, one in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. We have trained more than 1000 teachers! So many children get hope, the gospel and a future (a better foundation to their education). Our passion is to bring the message of salvation to children. It is so easy as our program is Biblically based.
For us it is such a joy to work for God and use our gifting to His glory. We can look back over our lives and see how God prepared us through our secular careers for this amazing task! A blessing to serve in this ministry! Such a joy to do this as a couple with all the wonderful people called to serve in this ministry! Prov 22:6 drives us to “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is older he will not depart from it”.
Isivuno Training's vision is to expand God's kingdom on earth by making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children. Through the effective training and equipping of teachers, we can enhance the future of these children.
Isivuno Training is blessed with an amazing team of board members and support staff working together to make our vision a reality.
We offer a full preschool curriculum with a Biblical foundation to teachers, in rural and disadvantaged areas, who do not have a formal education. Our ongoing support and mentoring ensures that we can help teachers to main the standard of excellence we expect to offer for the children's education. We collaborate with schools and churches, to jointly develop and share resources, skills and knowledge. Furthermore we expand our reach for training teachers by establishing training centers with qualified trainers in as many areas as possible.
Isivuno Training is grateful to be under the church covering of Harvest Christian Church in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). We are also in partnership with ACSI, CHESED and Boulder Foundation.
